Mom quickly (and I mean lightning fast) snapped this picture of us gals watching Veggie Tales. We had someone looking at the house and we always end up and Mom & Dad's.

Months Tag..
Listing months by your favorite to your least favorite
1. July...summer, picnics, the 4th, fireworks, no worries about school yet. Just the best.
2. August... nice and hot, and my birthday. But since we do start school during that month it is demoted.
3. May, the month that we got married. Plus, it is getting warm, but I hate the wind.
4. June, just your typical month, not to warm, not to cool, getting ready for the summer fun.
5. October, Halloween. Dressing up is fun, not it the slutty way some people do Halloween, but good family fun. Plus you get candy.
6. November, Matt's b-day (Jase too) and Turkey Day, plus you are in the depths of FOOTBALL.
7. December, X-mas and Ter's B-day. Plus you get lots of time off work.
8. September, Olivia's birth month, but it is starting to get cold and the days are shorter :(
9. April, It is okay but not great. Sophie's birthday is this month so it is better than expected, but still you get the terrible spring winds, and warm weather but it is to early to plant anything outside 'cause it will end up dying.
10 . March, starting to warm up but in that sneaky New Mexico way so that you'll inevitably get some snow in there. Plus it is muddy outside and really windy so outside time is limited.
11. February, Still cold and dark, but it is a short month so it is neater than Jan. And it it usually has the Superbowl.
12. January, Terrible time to sell a house. Plus it is cold and dark all the time. Sorry mom and dad for hating your birthday month.

Biker Chick
We recently got a tricycle for Olivia. She is such a physical kid we decided she needed a constructive way to use her energy. This trike is one of the smallest and safest, and it can hold 200lbs! Anyway, it came on Saturday, and I hadn't even finished putting it together and there was Olivia trying to climb on. The greatest thing about this trike is the parent handlebar, especially 'cause she is still too short to reach the pedals. We took it out for a test drive almost immediately. There was a permanent grin on her face. I think Olivia feels empowered while riding her trike.
Only minutes after construction.

Christmas Fun

So sorry, I've been so busy with the house and everything else, I've not had a chance to update my blog.
We had a great Christmas, Olivia didn't want to open any of the gifts because earlier in the week, she had gotten into one of the open bags, and I scolded her for it. I think she remembered, because all she did was look into the bags and smile.
Of course we carried on the one gift on x-mas eve tradition and both girls got PJ's (how strange Terri and I always did too!) Santa brought Sophie a lightsaber, and Olivia a wooden-block train. Olivia also received a baby doll (see picture below) and she hasn't put it down since. Sophie got a telescope and microscope set and is constantly looking for stuff to look at. Anyway, we hope that you all have a wonderful new years!
