I know I know....

Okay, I realize that I am over a month behind on blogging. Sorry! Things have been crazy. I've been working many more hours than the 75% I'm supposed too. I've been spending too much time working on our house or cleaning this house for potential showings. FYI: If you are looking to buy a house, please don't stand people up. Granted it is nice when the house is spotless, but it is such a huge emotional roller coaster to get the house all spic&span and then have the clients ditch us. I guess this is what it would feel like to get dumped the night before the prom.
Anywhoo...I had to take today off work (boo hoo me!) 'cause my sitter / best friend / mom and pretty much my rock right now decided to take off to go camping. I'm glad because they needed a break from the girls. So, I thought I ought to download the pictures from my camera. I had this one really beautiful shot of Olivia looking at the roses, and thought it would be breathtaking in black and white. Isn't she gorgeous?
Enough gushing over my little cutie-pie, I promise to be better about my blogging, and posting pictures of both my super cute girls.

Happy Easter

We tried to get some good pictures of everyone on Easter. Unfortunately Matt had some serious allergies which made him look like a zombie. Rather than embarrass him, I'll just post pictures of us girls!

Happy Birthday Sophie!

Last night we took Sophie and her two friends, Katie and Marian out to dinner. We had a lovely time and hearing three seven year old girls talk is so fun! They were all very well behaved and drank lots of lemonade and then shared a brownie with ice cream on top. I can't believe Sophie is seven...how time flies!

Something I'll miss about our little house.

When I come home from teaching Step Aerobics on Mon and Wed evenings, I open the garage door and Olivia runs to the cat door to see me come home. It makes me laugh every time, and I'm going to miss seeing her little face squished against the gross door. Now you can see what she does. (And she knows that when she pushes her face it makes her look funny!)
Matt thinks she looks like a vampire bat.

Piano duet

The Schmidt Sisters perform their first duet.

Sooooo behind....

I am terribly behind in my blog posts. Hopefully I'll catch up this weekend. Anyway, most of you know that we had a water pipe burst in our front yard. This was many weekends ago, but here are the pictures of Matt heroically digging the hole so we didn't have to pay the plumber to dig it. Incidentally this is also the day Olivia got the stomach bug.
